day 1*

sat ferry to pulau ubin wif my grp which i dun realli noe..arrived n found out tht my grp name was magellan..haha~ named after this famous[but not so famous] explorer..got introduced to our instructor who was natalie[nat]. after tht we went to the storeroom to get the bagpacks n ponchos n bottles provided..n went to collect our food rations which was realli alot..muz carry them around all over the place summore..then we packed our bags n were assigned roles..n i was IC for the day..coz there were no other roles liao..haha~ =) so i was given this walkie talkie to talk to nat when i want to..lol~ n it was kinda weird toking to her over the walkie =p

then we trekked to our campsite wif the heavy bags..i think at tht time they weighed 10kg+..n it started to rain =( but i too lazi to use the poncho..after like dunno how many steep slopes we finally reached the campsite..nearly died already lor..haha~ so we went to the store to get the tents n cooking pots n mass tins..which we were supposed to carry around wherever we go..haha~ n our bags were like super full already..

anywayz, we pitched our tents n cooked[a romantic]dinner by the sea..lol~ had porridge n can food to eat..haha~ not tht nice but acceptable i guess..then we had to pour all the leftover food into the sea =p n wash the utensils in the sea..haha~ was kinda gross lah duh..summore i was the one washing the pot full of leftover porridge..n all the rice was like stuck to the pot..n when all the rice came out i could see it bobbing up n down the shore wif the waves..haha~ =) but got used to the 'disgustingness' real fast coz worst things were ahead..lol~ =) after cleaning up i went to bathe..coz we wun have a toilet for the next few days..then after tht had fire drill n stuff..n our grp went to the jetty wif nat to chat..n there were backwashes..so it kept shaking..haha~ went to sleep at around midnight..

day 2*

woke up at 6 i think..ate biscuits for breakfast n met nat late for 1st activity =p which was climbing logs..haha~ but it was quite difficult lor..coz their like 1.3m+ apart..n we aren't veri tall u noe..haha~ but jiayi n i made it to the top lah *grinz* =) [actualli like everyone made it to the top =p] but the sense of achievement was great siaz!! coz it was realli tiring..then had biscuits for lunch n packed our bags n tents to head off for next campsite..n we met nat super late..sigh~ =( she always has to wait lor..n summore we haven't realli finished packing..so she scolded us..but actualli we deserve it..

so we missed the jetty jump activity =( sigh..coz no time liao..n we had to kayak to the next campsite fast coz tide was getting low..we oso practised capsizing..haha~ so fun!!![though the sea water was super dirty] but i juz lurrvve capsizing!! =p then we had to kayak against the tide lor..nearly died..finally reached the 2nd campsite wif livingstone[magellan's buddy grp]..pitched tents n cooked dinner as usual..

then met nat n kelvin[livingstone's instructor] n they told us abt the next day's activity..where we were supposed to kayak round the island to the next campsite..but we took shortcut..heh~ =p we were gonna kayak through the mangrove..but got disadvantages lah..coz if we dun get out of the mangrove in time the water will drain out during low tide n we would hafta drag our kayaks n mud crawl out..n we'll die coz the kayaks are super heavy..n the mud is super soft..n our legs will get super stucked..lol~ =p then yong jia, jen, rachel n i were voted to be the sea ex[sea expedition] leaders for the kayaking expedition..was quite shocked they picked me lor..like as if i lead until veri gd liddat..haha~ maybe i do then =p so the 4 of us planned everything lor..n we briefed everyone..haha~ btw the scenery at this campsite was super beautiful!! esp during sunset sia..the whole sky was like pinkish..damn nice lor!! then at nite nat was teaching the 4 of us[sea ex leaders] to read stars..n i learnt hw to recognize the orion =)
